In 1995, Jerry Jordan Jr. ’61, MBA ’67, P’96, ’89 put his words into action when he established the Gerald Jordan Family Scholarship Fund.

"An endowment gift of $500,000 creates one undergraduate scholarship for eternity—a unique and creative investment that perpetuates financial aid, for many outstanding students, theoretically forever,” he said. “In this way, I am making the most extraordinary long-term investment there is: an investment in outstanding students."

Along with his wife, Darlene KSGEE ’01, and sons, Jerry ’89 and Reid ’96, the Jordan family are avid supporters of financial aid and all the possibilities that come with it for students.

“I choose to make a gift to Harvard because it is an institution I love,” Jordan said. “I grew immensely while an undergraduate, and I owe that opportunity to the financial aid Harvard offered me.”
